50E1200HB Thyristor

The CLA50E1200 is a high-efficiency thyristor (also known as an SCR) from IXYS. It’s a three-terminal semiconductor device designed for switching applications, particularly in AC and DC motor control, lighting, heating, and power inverters.

The CLA50E1200 Thyristor has a repetitive peak reverse voltage and repetitive peak forward blocking voltage of 1200V. It has an average on-state current of 50A and an RMS on-state current of 79A.

The gate trigger voltage (Vgt) is 1.5V, and the gate trigger current (Igt) is 50mA. The maximum operating temperature is 125°C.
